Mick Fanning has won his 2nd Rip Curl Pro Search title, cementing his ASP ratings lead and inching ever closer to the World Title.
In a nail-biting Final against Bede Durbidge (who finished the heat with a 9.87 score), Mick claimed his victory with a 12.67 point win.
The race is now on for Pipe. Parko needs to get at least a third place result at Pipe to win world title, and that is only if Mick finishes 9th or worse at Pipe. Needless to say, the next event should be interesting.
