Come celebrate how surfing helps those with Cystic Fibrosis!

Including a surf experience for kids who have CF, professional surfers, ocean safety info, music and prizes!

Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects 30,000 adults and children in the US. Several years ago researchers in Australia discovered that kids with CF who surfed had healthier lungs than those who didn't. The ocean's salt content helps to clear dangerous mucus from their lungs. Now hypertonic saline treatments are part of the daily routine of ever CF patient.
